Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　在纳粹德国，玩具制造商拥有一本神秘的书籍，赋予无生命的生命。在躲过希特勒命令取回书的党卫军之后，这位玩具商登上了一列火车企图逃离该国。认为他很清楚，玩具制造商很快就发现，一批高级纳粹军官也加入进来。最终，他的秘密被揭露出来，纳粹关闭。但是，玩具制造商已经使用这个神奇的东西来带来一个名叫罗伯特的复古娃娃来生活 - 而罗伯特将毫无阻碍地保护他的主人。所以，当玩具制造商和杀手娃娃拿起纳粹时，就开始了一场血腥的战斗。这是对死亡的一场战斗，只有胜利者才会在下一站下车。
