沙发帝国继承人Checco，过着奢华却空虚的生活。在50岁生日前夕，他发现叛逆的女儿Cristal失踪了，只留下一张指向圣地亚哥朝圣之路的纸条。为了找到女儿，Checco被迫放弃豪车豪宅，背上背包踏上艰苦的徒步之旅。在朝圣之路上，他脚起水泡、遭遇各种意外，遇到了形形色色的朝圣者，逐渐理解了女儿的想法，重新认识了亲情与人生。
